On this site we offer the perspectives of people around the world, as well as our own polyamorous family: Roland and Juliette, married since 1998, and Laurel, who has been Roland's other love and Juliette's best friend since the summer of 2007.

In our family, we have all had experience with monogamous relationships and infidelity before arriving at polyamory. We'll also offer the stories of singles, couples, and groups around the world that are living and loving in polyamorous relationships of all kinds.

Loving openly isn't just about having multiple partners: it's about removing the limitations we put on ourselves and on others.

Is it easy? No. Changing how you normally do things never is, especially if you go against tradition. Is it for everyone? Absolutely not - if you don't really think polyamory can work, or if you don't understand why people would even want to deal with multiple partners (both common concerns), polyamory is probably not right for you, at least not right now.

But if you have this sense that you can love more...that honesty and respect are the most important things in a relationship, even more important than exclusivity, polyamory may work really well for you.

In fact, many monogamous people come to our workshops or write us with questions. The fundamental skills of open relationships, namely overcoming jealousy, knowing how to communicate with your partner, and scrupulous honesty, are the secrets to success in ANY kind of relationship.

With this website, we will share a wide variety of global resources in the hopes of helping others learn the joys of loving openly and with fewer limits than ever before.
